Quick Clean Magnetic Chutes

“QUICK-CLEAN” Magnetic Chutes are designed to remove medium to large-size ferrous tramp metal contaminant’s from high-volume product flows in gravity-fed vertical chutes. These magnets are ideal for use with heavy product flows which would otherwise bridge or choke if filtered through magnetic grates. The metal separator magnets are used in many industries including the food, feed, chemical and grain to improve product quality and protect equipment such as milling, processing and packaging.

The product stream flows between two powerful permanent separator magnets located on either side of the chute. There a center diverter directs the product flow towards the two magnetic faces, which are “stepped” to minimize tramp metal “wash-off”. As tramp metal contaminant’s come in contact with the magnetic field they attached themselves to the magnetic face. After the product stream is terminated the drawer assembly opens to easily remove the tramp metal from the product stream to a disposal area outside the chute.
